Return of the GlobeWrider

Sorry ladies and gents but GlobeWrider has been on hiatus.....no, I haven't been on vacation (but I have taken a couple of trips recently!)....Basically GlobeWrider has been completely revamped and updated to include many other services in the travel industry.

Have you ever traveled somewhere and felt lost at any point? I don't just mean physically lost, but just lost in the literal meaning of the word. The travel industry has just become so convoluted and inundated with materialistic ideas that the basic function is no longer held. Whatever happened to ease of travel? Where did customer service go? Why does the industry seem so bureaucratic anymore that you must go through many mediums just to get what you need? Let's not even mention the "so-called" low-cost travel sites that do all your package booking for you yet send you to the far extremities of the earth just to obtain that discount. Everywhere you look, someone is trying to sell you something to someplace at some ridiculous price. The relaxing vacation is nonexistent once the stress of overage fees settles in. The neverending extra charges do not cease to end: baggage fees, airport taxes, overweight bag fees, visa requirements, passpor- ...need I say more? Don't you wish you can put all of the hassle in someone else's hands so you can get back to enjoying your vacay?

Well that's what the new GlobeWrider is for! We're here to take the trouble out of traveling so you can get back to enjoying the more memorable moments of life. Let us help you book your dream vacation. You enjoy, we'll take care all of the nagging details.

A whole line of travel oriented services is underway. Follow us on our journey to making the world a smaller, more understandable and enjoyable place.

New Beginning: A 2010 Odyssey

Hello Blogger World!

This is the very first and official blog of the one and only Nati Roman, Globerider!

It is the day before New Year's Eve 2009 and we are on the brink of a new beginning. We are all phoenixes and this is our Genesis for our new lives. When the ball drops at midnight tomorrow night it will mark a new second, a new minute, a new hour, a new day, a new month, a new year, a new decade and a new life...

So let us toast to this new beginning and commence our 2010 odyssey! I will be leaving behind all the childish and adolescent things of my past and began my journey into "real" adulthood and fulfillment of life's treasures, but this time for myself and not for anyone else. I am a single, young woman. 22 years young, no children, no spouse and nobody to hold me back but myself. I will no longer let my fears or my past detain me from enjoying life to the fullest and to do so, I will completely turn around my life and bring myself back to basics.

This new decade will bring about many changes in my lifestyle. I am no longer a student but a young careerwoman out in the world. No more partying, no more drinking. Sobreity and celibacy are my new oaths. Not to mention....no more binge eating :-/  This year my diet and weight loss plan will be in full force. I am currently at a firm 180 pounds with a height of only 5'5"....You don't have to be a math major to know that that equates to overweight"ness" and pre-obesity. However, no longer will I need to be ashamed of my body! I pledge to dedicate myself to cleansing my mind, body and soul of all deterrants and poisons.

To culminate my transformation, I will take the first steps on my new career path in the aviation and travel industry. A dream come true for a geography lover like myself! So next week I began this new journey that will hopefully lead to a happier, more fulfilled life. I will work, earn money, save for my future, buy a new car, take care of all my financial responsibilities and most importantly....TRAVEL with my newfound travel benefits. I will travel the world stopping everywhere and anywhere just to gain a greater understanding of this world and to experience all that its' people have to offer. I will therefore use this blog to chronicle my 2010 Odyssey and continually post travel journals complete with pictures and videos. It doesn't matter if no one ever reads this, but at least I'll have left my own mark on this earth...

Music: Jay Sean - On and On
"I understand that time won't wait for no one (no no no)
I can't live in the past On and on, on and on, it don't look back  (people move)
On and on, on and on, they won't look back (and thought I've moved)
On and on, on and on, I won't forget what it took to get me here,
 How much I sacrificed..."
